Test Ride & Delivery

Ride a bike before you pay for it. Test rides for MOTOVO bikes happen at our location in Jorpati, Kathmandu, and if you cannot come to us we can arrange delivery when you ask for it.

Where we are

MOTOVO has one location, in Jorpati, Kathmandu. That is where test rides take place. Open it in Google Maps for directions.

There is no separate branch in Bhaktapur or Lalitpur. Buyers from anywhere in the valley come to Jorpati for the ride, or ask us about delivery instead.

How a test ride works

  1. 1Find a bike you like in the inventory. Each Certified listing shows its grade and its full inspection report, so read that first.
  2. 2Ask for a test ride: use the Request Test Ride button on the bike's page, message us on WhatsApp or call one of the numbers below.
  3. 3Our team confirms a time with you. Please wait for that confirmation before travelling, so the bike is ready when you arrive.
  4. 4Come to Jorpati with a valid driving licence. A test ride is not possible without one.
  5. 5Ride the bike and check it against its report. If something on the bike does not match what the report says, tell us there and then.

A valid driving licence is required for every test ride. To buy a bike you will also need a copy of your citizenship.

If you are in Bhaktapur, Lalitpur or elsewhere in the valley

You are welcome at Jorpati for a test ride wherever you are coming from. If the trip is not practical for you, tell us where you are and ask about delivery.

We arrange delivery on request. It is not automatic and it is agreed bike by bike, so message us with the bike you want and your location, and we will tell you plainly what we can do before anything is fixed.

What to look at when you get here

A test ride is short, so it helps to know what you are checking. Our guide to checking a second hand bike lists the same 50 points our own inspection uses, with what each one feels or sounds like when something is wrong.

  • Certified bikes already have those 50 points scored in the report on the listing. Use the ride to confirm it.
  • Uncertified bikes are listed by the seller and have not been inspected or graded by MOTOVO yet. Talk to our team before you commit to one, and check it yourself carefully.

Can I test ride an Uncertified bike?

Uncertified bikes are listed by their sellers and have not been inspected by MOTOVO yet. Contact our team first and we will help you with the next step for that bike.
